At least four people were killed, including a police officer and the man believed to be the attacker, and 20 are injured in a chaotic attack on Wednesday that spanned several locations near British parliament, in what the metropolitan police called a terrorist incident.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the "sick and depraved terrorist attack" in London saying "we will all move forward together, never giving in to terror and never allowing the voices of hate and evil to drive us apart."

Earlier today, it was reported that a woman had died and other people were being treated for "catastrophic" injuries after a car crashed into pedestrians near Westminster and an assailant stabbed a policeman.
