Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi was among international leaders present during the World War II Victory Day parade in Moscow's Red Square.

During the day, El-Sisi exchanged friendly talks with a number of leaders of countries participating in the Victory Day celebrations in the Russian capital, Moscow, including President Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China.

He also met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and reiterated Egypt's "full support" for the Palestinian cause, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of captives and detainees, and the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid.
