Egypt will see hot weather Sunday in most parts in the country, cold at night, accompanied by sand and dust-filled wind that turn into full sandstorms in some parts of the country, Egypt's Meteorological Authority said.

Due to high winds, visibility will be low. Maritime transportation in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea could see disruptions.

The Red Sea will be slightly more stable than the Mediterranean. Waves in the Red Sea will rise between one and a half to two metres, and over three meters in the Mediterranean.

Cairenes will see temperatures of 32 degrees Celsius in the morning, with a low of 18 degrees Celsius at night.

In Alexandria, the weather will be slightly cooler, with highs of 29 degrees, dropping to 16 degrees at night.
