The President named Major-General Mohamed Hegazy Abdel-Mawgoud as new Commander of the Air Defence Forces

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has issued a decree appointing a new commander for the Air Defence Forces and a new advisor for military affairs, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement on Wednesday.

The President named Major-General Mohamed Hegazy Abdel-Mawgoud as new Commander of the Air Defence Forces, while Ali Fahmy has been named presidential advisor for military affairs, the statement read.
