To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the renowned travel guide Lonely Planet revealed its eagerly awaited list of the top 50 tourist destinations for 2024.

Egypt ranked sixth in the category of Best Value Destinations, captivating travellers with its rich history, cultural treasures, and awe-inspiring landscapes.

Egypt's inclusion in this prestigious list is a testament to the country's enduring appeal. From the timeless wonders of the Pyramids of Giza to the magnificent Sphinx, Egypt boasts a cultural tapestry that weaves together ancient history and modern vibrancy. In its coverage of the Lonely Planet list, the Sun newspaper referred to Egypt as one of the eight countries that should be on every traveller’s radar in 2024.
