Omar made these remarks during his speech in a seminar at the Egyptian United Nations Association on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
Egypt is shouldering its humanitarian and regional responsibilities to put an end to the Palestinian bloodshed, Omar said, highlighting Cairo's efforts since the Israeli war on Gaza began.
He added that Cairo has contacted several regional and international partners and held many field visits to the Rafah border crossing and Arish to monitor advancements in the war-torn strip.
The country has also helped evacuate nationals of many countries from the Gaza Strip and facilitated the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza before Israel laid hands on the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing.
Furthermore, he reiterated Egypt's categorical rejection of attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue and force Palestinians out of their lands.
Omar also said the international ministerial conference slated for on Monday in Egypt aims to mobilize humanitarian aid for Israeli war-ravaged Gaza.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres will attend the Cairo conference, titled "A Year of Humanitarian Catastrophe in Gaza: Urgent Needs and Sustainable Solutions," along with ministers and representatives from several countries in the Middle East and the world.
Other international organizations and relevant UN agencies will also participate in the conference.
