The EMA forecast said northern parts of the country will be most affected, with moderate to heavy rainfall in some areas and strong winds along the coast.

Daytime temperatures are expected to range between 24–25°C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, and 23–24°C along the North Coast, while southern regions will remain warmer, between 31–25°C.

Moderate rainfall is anticipated in parts of the North Coast and northern Delta, occasionally turning heavy with active winds causing blowing sand in the southern areas of the Western Desert.

Light rain may also occur intermittently in the southern parts of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and Canal cities, the EMA added.

From Friday to Saturday, the EMA forecasts intermittent moderate rainfall over areas in northern Upper Egypt and the northern parts of Cairo.

Morning fog from 4 am to 9 am is also anticipated along highways and agricultural roads leading to Greater Cairo, Canal cities, and northern Egypt on Sunday and Monday.

The authority urged citizens to stay updated with weather reports and for authorities to take all necessary precautionary measures to prevent any adverse effects of the expected weather conditions.
