According to a Hamas statement, the delegation is set to hold talks with the Egyptian side on the completion of the first phase, including the reopening of the Rafah crossing in both directions.

The discussions will also focus on accelerating the transition into the second phase, which includes the formation of an administrative committee in Gaza and the completion of the Israeli withdrawal from it

In addition to meeting with Egyptian officials, the delegation is scheduled to consult with leaders of other Palestinian factions to review the latest political and field developments across both Gaza and the West Bank.

On Sunday, the Palestinian resistance group’s spokesperson, Hazem Qassem, said that Hamas has decided to dissolve the government bodies administering the Gaza Strip, clearing the way for the transfer of authority to a committee of independent technocrats.
