According to Shereen Zorba, the head of the Secretariat of the UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment and the host of the vodcast, the series is made up of ten vodcasts that are being released in a playlist during the remaining week of COP27 and the fortnight following it.

The first vodcast is one and a half hours long but the following ones are approximately 20 minutes each.

The discussions in the vodcasts offer a fresh perspective on “setting goals” by presenting in-depth analysis and forward-looking solutions by world leaders, visionaries and top experts.

The vodcasts also discuss delivering on promises and ponder the question whether sustainable industries need a more prominent ‘place on the table’.

Another important question posed by the vodcasts is to what extent the current geopolitical crisis could set back transitions.

Furthermore, the discussion in the vodcasts follows financial flows and explores how some African States are developing their independent strategies to turn the needle on the climate crisis.

The vodcasts also discuss ways to make technological empowerment and transitions achieve their goals.
