Bourse indexes down at end of week transactions

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes declined at the close of Thursday trading session, the last session of the week, prompted by profit-taking and the restructuring of financial portfolios.

The market capital reached EGP 2.189 trillion after transactions that totaled EGP 42 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index declined by 1.33 percent, ending at 30,762.32 points.
The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) dipped by 0.47 percent, closing at 7,468.76 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index went down by 0.55 percent, recording 10,642.21 points.
