Egypt bourse indices up at close of week transactions

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains at the close of Thursday's trading sessions prompted by purchases by Arab and foreign investment funds and sellouts by local institutions and Arab investors.

The market capital gained about EGP 10 billion to register at EGP 2.248 trillion, amid total transactions totaling EGP 47.6 billion.

The EGX 30 benchmark index was up by 0.14 percent, ending at 30,631.08 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.68 percent, closing at 8,340.11 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index went up by 0.55 percent to reach 11,522.45;points.
