The signing took place in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat.

The agreements are part of Egypt’s strategy to expand business operations and attract investment in the outsourcing market. According to Talaat, outsourcing services have become a key driver of Egypt’s digital exports, supported by major investments in human capital and specialized training programs aimed at strengthening the country’s digital transformation and workforce capabilities.

The deals include 16 companies entering the Egyptian market for the first time and 39 existing firms expanding their operations and capacity. Talaat said this reflects growing global confidence in Egypt’s investment climate and skilled workforce.

The minister added that the agreements are expected to create around 75,000 direct and indirect jobs over the next three years across sectors, including contact centers, IT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and technical support. He said the ministry continues to expand professional, technical, and language training programs to ensure Egyptian youth remain globally competitive.

Talaat highlighted that the outsourcing sector is now one of Egypt’s fastest-growing and most promising industries, with exports rising from $2.4 billion in 2022 to $4.8 billion in 2025, a 100 percent increase. Total digital exports, excluding freelancers, reached $7.4 billion, with a target of $9 billion by the end of the current fiscal year.

He added that about 500,000 trainees have benefited from government training programs so far, with plans to reach 800,000 through initiatives in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and IT, including Our Future is Digital (FWD), Maharat Min Google, and Your Job from Home.

Talaat stressed that investing in human talent is key to achieving sustainable digital growth, adding that the new agreements underscore strong international confidence in Egypt’s investment environment and advanced digital infrastructure.

Egypt is positioning itself as a regional and global hub for outsourcing and technology innovation, with initiatives designed to expand the industry, develop local tech talent, and enhance digital skills. The country aims to boost its competitiveness in the global technology and services market while creating significant employment opportunities.
