The Treasures of the Fourth Pyramid exhibition, currently being held at Al-Ahram premises in downtown Cairo, showcases a selection from the organisation's collection of murals by some of Egypt's tops artists.
The exhibition is organised by El-Beit magazine in celebration of 17 years since the founding of El-Beit and 142 since the founding of Al-Ahram.
Artist Ehab El-Labban curated the exhibition, which includes 20 large works by Seif Wanly, Mounir Canaan, Zakareya El-Zeiny, Ibrahim Dessouky, Zeinab El-Seginy, Gazebiya Serry, Omar El-Nagdy, and Zeinab Abdel-Hamid, among other prominent Egyptian artists.
"The exibition puts a spotlight on a rare collection of murals by icons of the Egyptian art scene. It is an opportunity for art lovers to view these works for the first time placed side by side at an institution as well-established as Al-Ahram, which has long held a pioneering role in collecting artwork, making it an important archive of the history of contemporary art," El-Labban said.
