Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will perform at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on 13 February as part of the museum’s GEM Nights concert series.

Adams, whose career spans more than four decades and includes global hits such as Summer of ’69, Heaven, and (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, will headline the series in his first major performance at Egypt’s landmark cultural venue.

He rose to international fame in the 1980s with his rock ballads and arena anthems, earning multiple Grammy nominations and a Juno Award for Artist of the Year. Adams has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, establishing himself as one of rock music’s most enduring artists.

Adams is currently on an international tour supporting his 16th studio album, Roll With The Punches, released in August 2025. The tour commenced in North America in September 2025, with performances across the United States, Canada, and parts of South America, before proceeding to Europe and Asia.

His concert at the GEM on 13 February marks the Middle East leg of the tour, which also includes Dubai and Abu Dhabi. After Egypt, Adams will continue to India and Southeast Asia before returning to Europe to conclude the tour in June 2026.

The concert comes nearly a decade after Adams last performed in Egypt at a private event in March 2016, during which he encountered an issue involving damage to his guitar at airport customs.

“I want you all to know that I love your country and we had an amazing time there, we felt at home. The incident of defacing our instruments at airport customs is annoying, but it needed to be said. Much love to you all and look forward to bringing my family to visit you one day soon,” Adams wrote on social media after the incident.

Since its opening on 1 November 2025, the Grand Egyptian Museum has become not only a major home for ancient Egyptian artefacts but also a prominent venue for contemporary cultural events.

Launched in late 2025, the GEM Nights series has already hosted international artists including Calum Scott, Hauser, and Brian McKnight, as well as leading Egyptian performers such as Fatma Said and Omar Khairat.
