The draw of the Egyptian Premier League 2022-2023 was held in Cairo on Sunday.
The league’s runners-up last season Pyramids FC will start their mission with a game against Enppi on the first matchday.
The Cairo derby between Ahly and Zamalek will be played on the 14th matchday.
“The new season will start on 18 October and it will be finished on 30 June 2023,” EPL President Ahmed Diab told a press conference on Sunday.

“Our target is to make the Egyptian Premier League in the top of the African and the Arabia leagues,” Diab said.
Egypt will be adopting early kickoffs for football games in the new season as part of national plans to turn off lights early to save energy.
