The 23-year-old left the pitch after only 12 minutes during Wolfsburg’s 2-1 win over Hoffenheim.

Marmoush was included in Egypt’s squad for the friendly game that will be played on 18 November in Kuwait as part of the Belgium team's preparations for this month’s World Cup.

The Pharaohs started a preparation camp last week in Cairo with the participation of 24 local-based players.

According to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will join the Pharaohs on Monday.

Earlier this week, Egypt coach Rui Vitoria said that Belgium’s friendly will be very difficult, but stressed that his side is ready for this tough challenge.

Belgium were drawn in Group F of the World Cup with Morocco, Croatia and Canada.
