This came after Ahly’s CAF Champions League victory over Kenya's Gor Mahia on Saturday.

Speaking through his official Facebook account, the Swiss coach praised the dedication of Ahly’s supporters.

“Dear Ahly fans, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your constant support and great passion throughout last season,” he wrote.

The 63-year-old tactician emphasized the fans' role in the club’s success.

“Without you, the journey to the league title would not have been possible. The team greatly values your trust and support,” he added.

Koller assured the supporters that with their backing, the team is “stronger than ever and ready to face the challenges ahead.”

He concluded by saying, “Thank you for your incredible loyalty. Let’s continue to accomplish great things together.”

Ahly enjoyed a remarkable season, securing four major titles: the Egyptian Premier League, CAF Champions League, Egyptian Super Cup, and the Egypt Cup.

In their most recent Champions League campaign, Ahly defeated Gor Mahia 6-0 on aggregate in the Round of 32.

A 3-0 victory in the second leg preceded the league title celebration in front of their fans.

This marks Ahly's 10th consecutive appearance in the CAF Champions League group stage and their 22nd overall.

The Cairo giants are unbeaten in their last 24 matches in the competition, with their last defeat coming against Mamelodi Sundowns.
