The 25-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt star is a top transfer target for both clubs, FootballTransfers revealed on Friday.
Marmoush has been in scintillating form this season, leading the Bundesliga scoring charts with eight goals and four assists in six matches. His performances have drawn the attention of several English clubs.
The report suggests that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is prepared to move on from Gabriel Jesus to secure Marmoush's services at the Emirates Stadium. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s manager Arne Slot is eager to strengthen his squad with Marmoush but must free up space to accommodate the Egyptian forward if they pursue a deal.
In addition to Arsenal and Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham have also shown interest in Marmoush to bolster their attacking options.
Despite Premier League interest, Frankfurt is keen to extend Marmoush’s contract for another year. The German club is reportedly open to offers of around 35 million euros, though his estimated transfer value (ETV) rose to 40 million euros.
“It's true that Omar made a clear commitment to us in the summer. He has developed well and still has a lot of potential to grow further. We don’t want to lose key players, but no Eintracht player is untouchable,” Club Director Markus Krösche said after Eintracht Frankfurt’s 3-1 win over Besiktas last week.
Marmoush joined Frankfurt from Wolfsburg on a free transfer last summer, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in 41 games across all competitions during his first season.
