Eyong, 22, joined Levante from Villarreal last summer and has been one of the breakout performers in La Liga this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 12 appearances.

His performances have reportedly attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Premier League sides Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal.

According to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, Eyong’s contract runs until 2029 and includes a release clause of €30 million for domestic transfers and €40 million for international ones.

The forward has made two appearances for Cameroon, debuting last October against Mauritius in a World Cup qualifier.

He is expected to be part of the Indomitable Lions squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco in December.

Cameroon have been drawn in Group F alongside Ivory Coast, Gabon and Mozambique.
