Visitors to the Giza Plateau, home to the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, the Khufu Pyramid, will now have access to free medical services thanks to a new partnership between Orascom Pyramids and Cleopatra Hospitals Group.

The agreement, signed under the framework of Orascom Pyramids' collaboration with the Supreme Council of Antiquities, is part of Egypt's broader effort to enhance tourism services at major archaeological sites.

The new first-aid clinic will operate during the plateau's visiting hours. The staff includes a qualified team from Cleopatra Hospitals Group to ensure immediate medical support for tourists.

This initiative underscores the government's commitment to elevating the visitor experience while prioritising safety and well-being at one of Egypt's most visited landmarks.

"Our goal is not only to develop infrastructure and recreational services at the Giza Plateau, but also to ensure the health and safety of visitors," said Amr Gazzarin, Chairman of Orascom Pyramids.

"This partnership reflects our belief in the importance of integrating tourism with high-quality healthcare services to deliver a humane and civilised experience worthy of Egypt's rich history."

Ahmed Ezz El-Din, CEO of Cleopatra Hospitals Group, emphasised the significance of the collaboration, noting that the group takes great pride in providing healthcare services at one of the world's most important tourist attractions.

"Having a presence at the Pyramids is an extension of our mission to deliver high-quality medical services to everyone in need, wherever they may be," Ezz El-Din added.

The project is part of a large-scale plan for developing services at the Giza Plateau, which includes improvements to infrastructure, transportation, and visitor facilities.
