After losing in the semifinals on Monday, the Egyptian fighter will compete for a bronze medal


Egypt's Taekwondo fighter Seif Eissa lost to Maksim Khramtcov of the Russian Olympic Committee 13-1 in the semifinals of the -81kg event early on Monday.

The Egyptian fighter will compete for a bronze medal as he awaits an opponent.

Seif Eissa lost the first round 3-1 before suffering big defeat 8-1 in the second round to Khramtcov to finish the game with 13-1 to the Russian Olympic Committee fighter.

Salah Elsharabaty of Jordan defeated Nikita Rafalovich 13-11 in the second game of the semifinals.

The 23-year-old, Seif Eissa started his mission in the -80kg event early on Monday by beating Jack Marton of Australia 11-1 in the Round of 16.
