Ibrahim Adel's double propelled the Egypt U-23 team to a 2-1 victory over their Iraqi counterparts in their final friendly match before the Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
The Pyramids FC winger wasted no time, scoring just two minutes into the game to give Egypt the lead.
However, the Iraqi side managed to equalize at the beginning of the second half.
Adel then stepped up again, finding the back of the net five minutes after the hour-mark to secure the winning goal.
In the Summer Olympic Games, Egypt have been placed in Group C alongside Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Uzbekistan.
Their campaign will commence on the 24th, with their first match against Uzbekistan scheduled three days later.
The group stage will conclude with a game against Spain.
