In the second half, Egypt staged a remarkable comeback, largely due to outstanding saves by substitute goalkeeper Mohamed Ali, narrowing the gap to 25-21.
The match remained closely contested until Denmark secured consecutive crucial goals in the final moments, clinching their second victory in Paris.
Egypt is competing in a group that includes Argentina, Denmark, France, and Norway.
They kicked off their Paris 2024 campaign with a 35-32 win over Hungary.
Next up, Egypt will face France in the third round of the preliminary matches on Wednesday.
