18:20 Egyptian sailor Kholoud Mansy came in 40th out of 43 boats. To make it to the final race, he has to be one of the top ten. Unfortunately, the next race has been moved to tomorrow, so Mansy will have to wait until then to try and improve his position.

17:40 The Egyptian Women’s Foil Team lost against China, with a final score of 18-45. This puts Egypt in eighth place in the competition.

17:15 Egyptian sailor Aly Badawy finished in 40th place in his boat race. Only the top ten boats will move on to the final round, so Badawy needs to do much better in race 3 on Friday.

15:20 Egypt Women’s Foil Team lost 45-21 to Poland in the classifications 5-8. They will face China in the classifications 7-8 later on Thursday.

14:55 Egyptian Sailor Aly Badawy finished 37th in the ranking of the Dinghy Men, Race 1. He will compete in the race 3 later on Thursday. Boats ranked from 1st to 10th in the opening series progress to the Medal Race.

13:30 Egyptian Archer Youssef Tolba lost 6-0 to Florian Unruh of Germany in the elimination round of the Men's Individual.

13:20 Egypt Women’s Foil Team suffered a heavy 45-14 defeat against Italy in the event's quarterfinals, ending their medal hopes. Trio Yara El Sharkawy, Malak Hamza and Sara Hossny will now compete against Poland at 14:40 Cairo time (GMT+3) to determine their final ranking between fifth and eighth place. 

12:50 Egypt Beach Volleyball team lost 2-0 (18-21, 14-21) to Spain in the third round of the preliminary round Group A to be crash out of the Olympic Games. They lost their first game 2-0 against Brazil then they suffered another 2-0 loss to Italy.
