Preview: A calm Sunday for Egypt as handball face Argentina, shooting and sailing march on

Egyptian teams and athletes are poised for a tranquil Sunday, with the handball squad set to clash with Argentina in the Preliminary Round Group B, while the shooting and sailing contingents continue their Olympic odyssey.

The handball national team, already assured of a spot in the quarterfinals, is gearing up for a game against Argentina in the final match of the Preliminary Round Group B.

Currently occupying the third spot in the group with five points, Egypt impressed with a commanding 35-23 victory over Hungary in the opening round, endured a narrow 30-27 defeat to Denmark, fought to a 26-26 draw with France, and clinched a thrilling 26-25 win over Norway.

Sailor Aly Badawy is set to forge ahead in his Olympic voyage, navigating races seven and eight of the Dinghy Men event on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kholoud Mansy will take to the waters in the 7th and 8th races of the Sailing Dinghy Women event.

In the realm of Shooting, Omar Khaled Abdel-Hady will step onto the firing line for the qualifying round of the 25m rapid-fire pistol Men.

Additionally, shooter Amira Aboushokka is primed to compete in the ranking round of the Skeet Women.
