Key injuries to Yahia Khaled and Mohab Saeed within the opening 10 minutes dealt a significant blow to the Egyptian side, according to goalkeeper Mohamed Aly.

"Losing to Spain is tough after dominating the game for most of the match," Aly told beIN Sports.

"Playing without Khaled and Saeed was a huge challenge, especially against a strong team like Spain," he added.

Aly also praised the performance of Spanish goalkeeper Vargas, who he described as the best in the world. "When we were leading by four goals, we knew he was able to bring his team back," he said.

Egypt's Yahia El-Deraa echoed Ali's sentiments, saying the team gave their all despite the loss.

"We can't blame anyone; we were limited due to injuries and Spain played well," El-Deraa said.

Both players expressed frustration with some of the refereeing decisions in the closing moments of the match.
