Ahly apologise to Sewe Sport for 'Congolese side' mistake on match ticket
Ahram Online , Wednesday 3 Dec 2014

Egypt's Ahly have issued a formal apology to Ivory Coast's Sewe Sport ahead of Saturday's African Confederation Cup final after naming the visitors a "Congolese club" on the match ticket.

Ahly chairman Mahmoud Taher was quoted as saying on Ahram Sport that he promised Sewe Sport officials that such an error "would not be repeated" after regretting it.

Local reports said Ahly would not be able to re-print the tickets as the majority have already been sold.

Ahly will be looking to overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit in Cairo as they seek to become the first Egyptian side to win the Confederation Cup, Africa's secondary club competition.

Up to 25,000 supporters will be able to attend the match after Egypt's interior ministry agreed to temporarily lift the ongoing crowd ban in home games.
