They Said It’s Here will be performed at the Rawabet theatre on 9, 11 and 12 May
The 55-minute performance is the result of a workshop conducted by the Cairo Acting School (CAS), an organisation funded by the Dutch embassy. This is the fourth workshop conducted by the CAS, but the performance is their first.
The workshop was conducted by Guido Kleene (silent improvisation) and Jochem Stavenuiter (contemporary mime).
The theme of the performance surrounds the idea of tolerance through different situations.
Actors include Amr Abed, Hamdy Eltounsy, Hany ElMetennawy, Ibrahim Salah, Karim Kassem, Mariam Saleh, May Salem and Mustafa El Munufi.
Performances start at 9pm.
