Egypt's cabinet has designated Sunday, 25 January 2015, as an official holiday commemorating the fourth anniversary of the January 25 Revolution, announced cabinet spokesperson Hossam El-Qaweish Wednesday afternoon.
In 2009, former president Hosni Mubarak, ousted 11 February 2011, designated 25 January a national holiday to commemorate the Egyptian police and its resistance to British occupation in Ismailia in 1952.
