This will be the final league clash between the two clubs this season, with the Alexandrian side winning 4-1 last time

Egyptian Champions Ahly have announced their 20-man squad for their match against Ittihad of Alexandria in the Premier League that was postponed from match-day 22.

Caretaker coach Fathi Mabrouk will have to do without Hossam Ghaly who is suspended for being shown the red card during Haras El-Hodoud 1-0 defeat Sunday.

On Monday, Ahly announced that Ghali, who kicked the captain's armband onto the ground as he left the Hodoud game, would no longer be the team's captain.

Amr Gamal, Moemen Zakarey and Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' will be sidelined due to injuries.

Midfielder Walid Soliman was named for the squad after he recovered from his injury.

Brazilian Hendrik Helmke is expected to make his debut.

Striker Ahmed Abdel-Zaher will also be missed as he undergoes medical examinations following a chest injury he sustained during the CAF Cup round of 16 win two weeks ago.

"Injury is God's will. I did all I could against Club Africain of Tunisia and I was able to score. I thank all my fans for their kind support," Abdel-Zaher was quoted as saying on the club's official website Wednesday.

The match is expected to be a tough challenge for the Red Devils as they face enthusiastic Hossam Hassan coaching Ittihad.

The first leg ended with a 4-1 win for the coastal club.

With hopes of winning their ninth successive trophy starting to fade as they continue to trail first-placed Zamalek - who have a game in hand - by 11 points, Ahly remains third on the table with 55 points,

Ittihad of Alexandria are ninth with 43 points.

Ahly squad announced as follows:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekrami, Mosaad Awad and Ahmed Adel

Defenders: Mohamed Naguib, Saad Samir, Sherif Hazem, Sabri Rahil, Sherif Abdel-Fadil and Bassem Ali

Midfielders:Hendrik Helmke, Karim Bambo, Ramadan Sobhi, Hossam Ashour, Walid Soliman, Abdullah El-Said and Mohamed Rek

Strikers:Emad Meteb, Peter Ebe, Salah Said and Mohamed Nagi 'Gedo'
