Salah seeks 'harmony' with teammates to spur improved performances

Roma's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah said on Sunday he wants more success with his new side after playing well and scoring against Sassuolo in Italy's Serie A.

Salah opened his Roma account with a sumptuous volley in his side's 2-2 draw.

The 23-year-old produced a fine performance and nearly grabbed a winner, but the visitors' keeper Andrea Consigli got a hand to his curling effort with eight minutes left.

"I want to score more goals and to provide a better performance than against Sassuolo," Salah told Roma's television channel on Sunday.

The Egyptian international added that upcoming matches may bring improved showings, as he seeks a closer harmony with his teammates.

"I am sure that my performances will be better in the next few games after I have learnt how to play in harmony with my teammates."

Salah joined Roma on a season-long loan from English Premier League champions Chelsea this summer after spending six months on loan at another Italian side, Fiorentina.
