Egyptian Facebook campaigns are requesting the ban of the international pop star Shakira from performing in Cairo as scheduled
After Shakira’s last visit to Israel, despite her previous statements condemning violence in Israel and refusing to visit the country, angry Egyptians have organised several social networking campaigns, mainly through Facebook, requesting the cancellation of Shakira’s concert in Cairo plannedfor 29 November, 2011 as confirmed by Waleed Mansour, concert planner and organiser.
Shakira previously performed three years ago in Cairo with Egyptian singer Amr Diab.
