Ahmed Shedid Qinawi rejoined Ahly in a four year deal after leaving for Masry in 2008
Masry left winger, Ahmed Shedid Qinawi has returned to Ahly in a four-season, free transfer deal.
“This is the best day in my life as I returned to my home, Ahly, after three years,” the 25-year-old was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.
The Portuguese coach, Manuel Jose received the talented player during Wednesday’s training session saying, “Welcome home again.”
“I am so delighted with the warm welcome by the technical staff and my teammates,” the son of former Masry footballer Qinawi said.
After landing Petrojet’s El-Sayed Hamdy, Shedid makes the second free transfer for the winners of first, post-revolution Egyptian Premier League.
Qinawi won 12 titles with the Cairo-based club before he moved to Port Said in 2008.
“I missed you so much,” he said to the supporters of the Red Devils.
