ES Setif of Algeria home game against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in the CAF Champions League group stage was called off on Sunday after Algerian fans invaded the pitch.
ES Setif are competing in Group B of the CAF Champions League alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Nigerian Enyimba and Egypt's Zamalek.
The Algerian side received two goals during the game against Mamelodi Sundowns in their CAF Champions League groups stage campaign, angering their fans who decided to invade the pitch minutes before the final whistle.
The game's referee initially suspended the game to give Algerian security a chance to control the attendance then resumed play after fans retreated.
However, riots reoccured as huge number of fans invaded the pitch again, forcing the referee to call off the game.
This means that South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns would be declared winners 2-0 over hosts ES Setif of Algeria.
CAF are expected to also fine and suspend the Algerian team after Sunday's riots.
Nigeria's Enyimba are scheduled to face Egypt's Zamalek late on Sunday in Group B matches.
