Nadeen Osama crowned Miss Egypt 2016

On 18 September, in a star-studded bash, a jury panel chose the 18-year-old Nadeen Osama from 21 contestants to take the title of Miss Egypt.

The jury included designer Hani El Beheiry, actress Ragaa El Gedawi -- who was a former famous model, TV presenter Rola Kharsa and writer Tamer Habib.

Mireille Aazer and Rewan Alaa were selected as the 1stand 2ndrunner-ups, respectively.

The celebration was attended by famous figures in the world of media, fashion and advertising, who enjoyed the performance of singer Rami Sabry.

Nadeen currently studies Business Management at the British University in Cairo and was born on 21August 1998.

The young brunette speaks three languages and ventured a few years ago into the field of modeling.

She will be representing Egypt in several events, most importantly the upcoming Miss World pageant.
