Ahly's Ghaly and Ajayi to miss African Champions League clash against Bidvest

Ahly's injured duo Hossam Ghaly and Junior Ajayi will miss their team's African Champions League clash against Bidvest of South Africa on Sunday as they need two to three week to recover from their muscle injuries, Ahly's football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz announced on Monday.

"Ghaly needs two weeks of treatment while Ajayi will be out of action for three weeks," Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told reporters.

The two players sustained a hamstring injury during Ahly's 1-0 narrow win over Bidvest in the first-leg of the round of 32 on Saturday in Cairo.

Ajayi has been a key member in Hossam El-Badry squad since joining the club last summer, scoring five goals in 14 League appearances while Hossam Ghaly is yet to regain last year's top form.

With their first-leg uncomfortable lead Ahly will have a tough mission in the second-leg in South Africa as they bid for their ninth African title.
