Kasimpasa's Egyptian winger Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan is set to join Czech club SK Slavia Prague according to the Turkish club's vice president, Hasan Hilmi Oksuz.

"Trezeguet has already undergone a medical at Slavia Prague who agreed to pay the five million Euros release clause in the player's contract," Oksuz was quoted as saying by Cnnturk.com on Wednesday.

The vice president explained that the club was forced to accept the deal despite the release clause payment.

Slavia Prague is expected to make official announcement of the deal after finalising the deal's details with the player, according to Turkish media.

The 23-year-old Trezeguet was linked this summer with a move to Turkey's Galatasray and also to Italian Serie A side Inter Milan.

Italian reports said earlier in July that the Egyptian international was on the verge of joining Inter, as he was supposed to play next season on loan at Parma, but the deal never transpired.

Trezeguet, who played in all three matches in Egypt's disappointing World Cup campaign that saw them exit the tournament in the first round after three defeats, returned to Turkey 3 July to resume training with Kasimpasa.

"I hope to join Galatasaray this summer," Trezeguet told BeIN Sports after arriving to Turkey.

"Many European clubs opened talks with me, not only Inter Milan, but now I am focusing with my club Kasimpasa."

The former Anderlecht winger is under contract with Kasimpasa until the summer of 2020.
