The 'December Warm Night' concert at Room will feature the band with singer Nelly Cassis

Room Art Space will be hosting a musical night with Insjam Band featuring singer Nelly Cassis on 28 December.

Insjam band is an instrumental fusion project, playing covers from many genres with an Egyptian twist.

The four-man band is comprised of Andrew Wadid on the clarinet, Cherif Ramez on the bass guitar, Ramy Maged on the piano, and Kareem Magdy on the percussions.

The band will be joined this time by Nelly Cassis, an Egyptian singer who started singing at the age of 14 in church choirs, where she gained experience as a soloist.

In 2014, Nelly started performing on stage in collaboration with several Egyptian bands in Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh; such as Orange Jazz (Jazz) and Buzzz Band (Pop) and Amro Salah Trio (Jazz and oldies).

In the field of classical music, she joined the Cairo Celebration Choir (CCC) in 2014 with Maestro Nayer Nagui, where she is singing as a soprano choir member and was a soloist in a Christmas concert.

28 December, at 8.30pm
Room Art Space, Garden City, Cairo
