Sharm El-Sheikh Asian Film Festival (SAFF) concluded its third edition on Friday; the awards were as follows:
Student Film Competition: "On My Way to the Cinema" by Sondos Tarek
Best Short Film: "The Oblivion" by Fatemeh Mohammadi (Iran)
Best Long Animation Film: "The Last Fiction" by Ashkan Rahgozar (Iran)
Best Documentary Feature Film: “Rock Kabul" by Travis Beard (Afghanistan)
Special Mention: "Baigal" for depicting universal human feelings in the context of a beautiful landscape.
Best Actor: Huang Jing-Yi for "The Rib" (China)
Best Actress: Kim Si-Ah in "Miss Baek" (South Korea)
Best Screenplay: Masaharu Take and Hideki Shishido for "The Gun"(Japan)
Best Director: Leon Le for "Song Lang" (Vietnam)
Best Arabic Film: "War Travelers" by Joud Saeed (Syria)
Best Film: "Rona Azim’s Mother" by Jamshid Mahmoudi (Afghanistan)
Samir Farid Prize: "Song Lang" by Leon Le (Vietnam)
Workshop Award:"Sunset Memory" by Mai Maraashli
