Egypt to see continued improving weather Thursday; rain expected in the south

The Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts will see moderate and disturbed waves of 1-1.5 and 2.5-3 metres in height


Egypt is set to see continued improving weather Thursday, with rain expected in some parts of Upper Egypt, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority said Wednesday.

According to a statement relayed by the state run MENA new agency, the country will see moderate weather in the Nile Delta and Cairo extending to northern Upper Egypt.

Colder weather is expected at night, with rain forecast on northern areas and parts of South Sinai and the south.

The Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts will see moderate and disturbed waves of 1-1.5 and 2.5-3 metres in height, respectively.

Cairo will see a high of 25 degrees Celsius and a low of 15, Alexandria will see a high of 21 and a low of 16, while tourist hubs Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada will see warmer weather with highs of 27 and 29 and lows of 20 respectively.
