The spokesman for Egypt's House of Representatives, MP Salah Hasaballah, praised on Thursday the recommendations of this week’s seventh National Youth Conference, in particular its decision to form working groups of young people, including students and presidential leadership program and students.
Hasaballah said the formation of these taskforces would provide an important opportunity to strengthen communication between the youth and different state bodies on handling issues and problems.
He also cited President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi's directives for the government to accelerate outlining the final vision of the draft laws on municipalities and the Senate, as well as on qualifying young people for political work and expanding their political participation.
During the conference, El-Sisi announced the recommendations of the conference, which include turning a simulation model of the Egyptian state into a permanent dialogue mechanism with the involvement of the government.
They also include establishing a youth task group to follow up on the implementation of the national mega-projects under the cabinet's supervision, and adopting a plan to work on the development of Alexandria's Ras El-Teen area.
