Egypt has offered its condolences to India after floods caused by torrential rains in northern Uttar Pradesh state killed dozens, the foreign ministry said on Sunday.



Thousands have been moved to relief camps as a result of the floods.



Cairo sends its condolences to the government and people of India, the ministry statement read, and has confidence that New Delhi can overcome this ordeal.
