Ahly, Enppi, FC Masr, EFA officials participate in World Football Summit hosted by La liga

LaLiga invited several professionals of different Egyptian football institutions to participate at the World Football Summit, a leading international event organized with a focus on the football industry in Madrid that took place last week. The event was a platform for stakeholders involved to meet, discuss, promote and generate business opportunities amongst each other. The objective of this event was to foster relationships between Spanish and Egyptian football, share knowledge, connections and know-how between both institutions.

This year, Peter Moore, CEO of Liverpool, Emilio Garcia, Chief Legal officer of FIFA and Miguel Angel Gil MarIn, the CEO of Atletico de Madrid are just some of the speakers that were part of the panel. Since its beginning more than 7000 attendees, 61 federations and 230 clubs have taken part in World Football Summit, with high-level speakers such as Fatma Samoura,Secretary General of FIFA , and Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga.

This year World Football Summit also hosted Mohamed Fadl, Board member of the Egyptian Football Association: "I must convey my deepest and appreciation for Laliga, one of the best football leagues in the world for inviting us to attend such a global event. We are confident that all attendees will achieve what they came here for, gaining greater insight to the industry and making connections, ultimately strengthening the development of football around the world.

"I met with key stakeholders in the football industry and made some very powerful connections that will trigger a future cooperation with some of LaLiga's biggest clubs", Khaled Mortaghy board member of Al-Ahly commented.

"This past week has proven that more and more businesses are in the position of exploring new markets all over the world. As LaLiga aspires to expand our viewership globally, our partnership with World Football Summit gives us the opportunity to help capitalize on the potential untapped market in the Middle East," said Juan Fuentes, LaLiga delegate in Egypt.
