Egyptian side Ismaily have won a first-leg advantage in the Arab Cup semi-finals after claiming a narrow 1-0 win over Raja of Morocco at Ismailia stadium on Sunday.
Tunisian forward Fakhereedine Ben Youssef converted a penalty eight minutes after the break following a VAR review in which Raja winger Hamid Ahadad was penalised for a handball after a shot appeared to hit his arm.
Despite the win, the Dervishes gave a poor performance that poses many questions ahead of the second leg, which will take place in Casablanca on 15 March.
The visitors threatened Ismaily on many occasions, but keeper Mohamed Magdi rescued his side, helping them to keep their narrow win.
