West Bromwich's Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazi has a good chance to play against Togo in the Nations Cup qualifiers later this month as medical examinations had revealed that his hamstring injury is not serious.
Egypt host Togo on 26 March in Cairo before meeting them again three days later away from home.
The 29-year-old injured a hamstring muscle injury inWest Brom's 1-0 loss to Wigan Athletic in the English Championship on Saturday, which led to doubts over his availability for Egypt's double-header against Togo.
However, West Bromcoach Slaven Bilicsaid Hegazi will recover in a couple of weeks.
"I spoke to him and the medical department and they don’t think it's something major," Bilictold English newspaper Express & Star on Tuesday.
"We're waiting, but hopefully he'll be back soon. Maybe a couple of weeks time."
Egypt are third in Group G with two points after being held to draws by Kenya (1-1 at home) and Comoros (0-0 away).
