Lebanon’s banks will close until March 29 as part of steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Lebanese media reported.

The bank closures are in line with government measures expected to be announced on Sunday to combat the coronavirus outbreak after President Michel Aoun declared the country in a state of medical emergency and Lebanon recorded 99 cases.
