President Abdel Fattah El Sisi greeted Thursday all the Egyptians on the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

In a post on his Twitter account, Sisi wished many happy returns to all the Arab and the Muslim peoples.

The blessed month of Ramadan comes this year while people across the world are in a state of unity and solidarity, Sisi wrote, alluding to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, saying that he is “praying to Allah to protect our great nation and its people, and give us the strength to overcome any dangers and challenges.”

“May Allah protect and save Egypt and its people and all peoples of the world from harm.”
