Ahly defender Yasser Ibrahim will not be available to play for the coming three weeks due to an ankle injury, the Cairo giants announced on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old sustained the injury during his side's friendly against Gouna on Monday as the league clubs continue their preparations for the domestic league resumption scheduled for Thursday 6 August.
Ahly will face Enppi on 9 August in a rescheduled game.
Last month, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) gave the clubs the green light to resume training in July after a four-month suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ahly are leading the league table with 49 points from 17 games, while perennial rivals Zamalek lie fourth with 31 points from 16 games.
