The 29th edition of the annual Arab Music Festival takes place between 1 and 10 November
Tunisian pan-Arab singer and composerSaber Rebaï will perform during the closing ceremony of the 29th Arab Music Festival.
The event will take place at the Fountain Theatre located at the Cairo Opera House grounds. The orchestra accompanying Rebai will be conducted by Hany Farahat.
Born in 1967in Tunisia to a Yemeni family from Hadramout,Saber Rebaï began his singing career at the age of 17 and was quickly recognised as an exceptional singer by the great musicians of the time, such as Mohammed Abdel-Wahab, Wadih El-Safi, Abdel-Halim Hafez, among others.
As he began composing, his major success came with the song Kalima - Word. He also worked with Hilmi Baker, Salah El-Charnoubi, and other renowned musicians. To date he has released over ten albums.
His fame took him to many stages across the Arab world and internationally.
Rebai has been awarded numerous prizes, from many international music festivals.
