ِِArab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit denounced the Israeli shelling on the Gaza Strip where 21 Palestinians including nine children were killed.

Aboul Gheit termed the shelling as erratic and irresponsible.

He blamed Israel for escalating the situation, urging the international community to immediately halt the Israeli aggression in Quds and Gaza.

Meanwhile, an official source at the AL general secretariat said that a meeting of the Arab foreign ministers is to be held today via video conference to discuss the repercussions of the situation in Quds.
